I have only rode it about 10 times since i purchased it brand new. I purchased a 2012 spesh rockhopper 29er about 6 months ago used. Note that some models have a water bottle cage or two adding to the weight so form your opinions accordingly.

The m4 alloy frame on the 2012 edition is an awesome hardtail frame. The components are cheap out the box but if you replace them over time you will get solid performance out of this bike.
